    dell support told me to do a bios update for a problem I had with a notebook I work with at work.


    Now the motherboard is busted...

    I called Dell but they say its not on record :S?


    Where can i find a motherboard for a dell c400 in Canada (Waterloo - Kitchener) Area?

    edit : What motherboard CAN fit into a C400?? Or anyway to "clear the bad bios" or somethin?

    I say you should try harder for Dell to fix it after all there the ones that suggested it. Ask to speak to the manager etc.

    If you were talking to Dell about it I'm sure you're under warranty... So the fix should be them replacing the board?

    It should be on record. If you phoned them then the phone call should've been recorded. If you used online chat then they should've sent you a email with the chat log.
