Think there will be a new discount coming after feb 1 ? Also the EPP discount for 12% as well, it also says expires feb 1st...

what is the opinion on if this will be continued.... just away from canada and wondering if i should wait or grab it now :)

Try phoning Dell Canada to find out what might be happening before you do or decide anything. Maybe there is a specific epp hotline or something?

Don't know about the epp but I'm sure there will be more discounts coming after feb 1st given that new processors are coming out. The current discount with epp is a pretty good deal but does require you to take a number of upgrades. For some it might be worth waiting for discounts which allow greater customization options.

Truth be told, between the $619 off for the XPS M1530, the 12% EPP (another $207 given my configuration), the 4% DPA method of payment (another $72), I an not sure I can beat nearly 40% off a $2,500 laptop anytime soon...though been wrong every single time dealing with Dell and their pricing scheme....

But $900 off is pretty tempting and trying not to pull the trigger, but fear I am losing the battle. ;)

I'm in the same boat, can't decide if it's worth it to wait for new discounts in addition to penryn + led screens :(.

Terp - in Canada we are limited to a max of $359 plus 12% EPP. Not quite as good of a deal.

Hey if I was in Canada right now, I would order it, I am not too concerned about it being outdated for what I want it for anytime soon.. (world of warcraft, other games, and webbing and some work stuff, but i have a work computer for that :))

    Thanks for the replies... :)

Think this system will be noticibly quicker for say world of warcraft compared to my 2 year old acer 5672 ?
