    (CANADA) What can i get thats samelike Inspiron 1520, but i can recieve it in a week?

    I am tired of waiting for it, dont know why it takes too long.

    My current 1520 was for $1300-1400

    Specs:

    1.5ghz c2d
    120gb
    256mb video card
    2gb ram

    all others are default.

    PLEASE SUGGEST ME SOME OTHER LAPTOP's from DELL or Some other company that is same like DELL INSPIRON 1520.

    My Main use is for GAMING.

    24 august, i know its not that long compared to others, but i require a laptop urgently for my work.

    I didnt know dell would take this long, after i ordered it.

    HP dv6500 in stores, if you can find it, most carries the older dv6000t's.

    But besides that and unless you can raise your budget, goodluck.

    Does Canada have a Dell Outlet that sells refurbished models?
    The Dell Outlet in the US has some refurbished Vostro 1500's and 1520's.

    99% of the vostro's will get shipped out whithin 10 days or so.. maybe switch to one of those or simply buy a system locally..

    I'd say give it a few extra days too...

    I ordered the specs in my sig on 8/25 and mine shipped today :D... And it has the no longer selling T7300!

    You could get an Acer 5920 from NCIX or go pick one up at like Staples (I'm pretty sure I saw one there) and get it within that time period, Acer's aren't known for high quality, but you could get a similar laptop to what you ordered in a couple days.

    Or you can try a Vostro and wait maybe less time than for your 1520.
