Just got this and it goes well until it consistently freezes at a video sequence at the reception desk.

I have updated video driver from Dell site - but is there another site I should be looking at for a new driver?

    P4 3.2GHz, ATImob9700 (128Mb RAM), 1024 RAM.

    This is what I did:

    "Go to www.omegadrivers.net
The instructions for installing them are on that site as well. Basically all you need do is uninstall your existing video drivers and ATI control panel from the Add/ remove programs list, reset, run the Omega .exe which will install them, reset again and voila, you should be up and running."

Works fine now. I did try the new catalyst 4.9 driver beta ati released just for doom 3 but was having problems with them (and so are many others) so better to leave that one for the time being.

Omega works, just follow instructions. The only problems I was having was because of not making sure they were completely uninstalled before new ones put in. May have needed reboot after uninstalling too which I skipped a few times.

Thanks - no problem installing and so far working well (although the link needs to lose the period after "net" or else you get to some weird version of the site with "god is watching" written everywhere).
