I finally received my laptop this past Friday, and just now...I got two of those case confirmation e-mails...that read

"Thank you for contacting us at Dell Home and Home Office customer care today.

"Your issue has been assigned case number 172062416, Please refer to this case number when communicating to any Dell representative regarding the issue we discussed today.

"If your issue is not resolved to your satisfaction, please contact my case manager by replying to this email. Please include the best times for us to call you and your preferred phone numbers. We will do our best to reach you at these times, or as soon as possible thereafter. When replying to this email, please leave the subject line unchanged so we can route your reply correctly."

    When did I contact them?
Are they still trying to expedite my laptop? -_- lol. Makes me wonder if those case things ever did anything.

Did you contact them via chat, email , or a phone call checking when your computer will ship? If so, then they open a case #.
