How do you "reserve" when there are only 100 available?
-
You "reserve" on this website:
www.tailormade.americanexpress.com -
I must be missing something. This is just a link to the site (which I belong to) - I don't see anywhere that you can "reserve," pre-order, or a way to insure that you will get one of the 100 before the assigned date, even after I log on. Can you tell me where on the page, or anywhere, is a "reserve" tab or..., after you log in? Many thanks!
-
This is probably a stupid question, but how do you get an account on this site? I am an amex blue cardholder, but I don't see how to register for this tailormade site.
-
You don't technically "reserve". A mad rush will ensue when the Dell link goes live on that website at 12pm next Friday, and I'm guessing the link will go dead or be removed once the allotment of 100 click-throughs is met. Good luck getting in on this one, folks.
-
Yes - you are right, jms7crm. No reserves - their website says reserve but it is a poor use of the word. Standing in line is not reserving!
-
Hmm, so if I was to grab one of those discounts, how much would it be worth?
-
I got one the last time they did it but it was a much better deal $500 off 1000
-
bump.....................
-
Only 100 offered will make it difficult to get one - maybe there will not be many that will spend $2000.
-
BUMP starts tomorrow
-
Seriously, good luck to anyone actually getting this...... as mentioned above, only 100 available. Last time I tried to get one of these deals, they were gone almost immediately (like, in a matter of seconds).
-
I got the $500 off $1000 last time and it wasn't that hard to get
-
4 more hours untill it starts
-
I got 2 last time $500 off $1,000. It was not hard.
-
1 hour away
-
10 more mins coupons can be used on XPS models
-
Maybe the concierge for the AE Titanium card can speed uo my order?
-
I got one!! Anybody else ? It's now sold out
-
I got 1 too.
-
I got one also.
-
That didn't last long... Now to find a good deal that I can use it on . Any ideas Peter ?
-
Xps M1330!
-
Using Tailormade and my EPP discount, I got such a good deal on this XPS M1330, with better specs, that I'm thinking now that I can wait for it to arrive probably in September/October or god knows when and probably just try to sell the other one I ordered from this forum at EPP cost (when and if I ever get it). I ordered my first XPS on 6/29, so <hypothetically> it should be in the first large batch of arrivals. Currently scheduled to ship next day on the first of August, so we'll see what actually happens. If anyone is interested in purchasing it when I receive it, let me know. The specs are black lid w/ led and vga, 2 gigs of RAM, 2.2 ghz processor, 160 gig 7200 rpm hard drive, nvidia card, fingerprint reader, 3 year complete care (accident plus in home warranty service), next gen intel wireless card, etc. $2300 + whatever it will cost for the buyers preferred method of shipping.
-
i should really get an amex card..iv got everything BUT amex..and thats how i missed out on this =/
-
So Im about to use my Tailormade discount, but it's asking me to enter my "Member ID" so I can get the extra 12% discount. Anyone have any idea what this is? Anyone have one I can borrow? If so, please feel free to PM me! Any and all help is truly appreciated!
Thanks in advance! -
HKINGS--right below that, on the page you are looking at, should be a drop down box you can use to select from the various programs, if you don't have the member ID. Your in good shape without the number, don't worry.
-
Hey,
If any of you guys have the tailormade discount but are not gonna use it I would REALLY appreciate it as I'm looking ot buy very soon -
-
UPDATE: Just got the order confirmation... YIKES, 9/6!!! Are they really taking that long to get out? -
The EPP deal that I got is better than the $500 off
-
-
-
-
-
Rumor has it there is a stackable $200 off coupon that will work with this
-

-
-
I got one. $500 off plus another 12%. Surprised me since an Alert was posted, several times, on this forum. Congrats to all that got this special.
I got a Precision M4300 - don't ask me how as it was not one of the choices. I couldn't redo the process I went through in a million years! :O -
****ing missed it. Like 5 seconds after 12, it was sold out. I knew I should have started refreshing at 11:59...
Anyways, how are you guys getting a 12% discount? -
I got 12% when I added the warranty . Still not sure if I am going to pull the trigger .
-
If you don't feel like posting them you can pm me -
I think you can also get 7% off when you choose Care Plus , right?
