    Basically, my LCD screen broken, due to a stupid accident involving a pen lid... :rolleyes:

    Anyway.. took it to a pc repair shop, it was all fixed and lovely, however i had to get a slightly lower resolution screen as it was far cheaper than the high res designed for my dell inspiron 1520.

    I saw no difference, but i just realised a few days ago my intergrated webcam doesn't work. It says "no supported camera detected". :confused: Its really annoying cos i use it to do video chats with my friend who lives in australia & blog on youtube! Can i download anything or do anything? Or should i just fork out more money n buy a new webcam & software?

    Help will be truely appriciated x ;)

    When they disconnected your LCD they may have unplugged the cam and forgot to plug it back in. Take it back to the shop and ask them about it.

    yes, the cable is disconnected. It's just a plug and play.
