$350 off of $1399 on 1420/1520/1720 not working!

I configured a number of 1520's yesterday at Dell's site with this coupon. Now it's not working at all. Coupon pulled? It's supposed to run until July 12th.

That's wierd, I just did a custom 1520, and the coupon worked when I applied it.

 

I tried a number of configurations earlier this morning. No dice.

No, you don't have to order it to apply the coupon code. I didn't yesterday and I played with a number of configs. Yes, I was in the main Dell site.

It doesn't say anything. It just reloads the page when I click 'apply it' and nothing changes. Yes, I copy and paste that coupon code.

 

sounds like a browser issue, or some cookie control problem, i tryed both firefox and IE7 and they both worked.

When it reloaded the page, did you see the coupon deal added near the bottom of the page.

such bullcrap, been talking to a dell rep for about 20 minutes now, she says "the coupon was only valid until July 6th" even though it said 12th when I used it, and I never saw anything about limited quantity when I clicked details

The $225 off code doesn't work for me. I priced a 1520 out @1629.00 and tried to enter the code afterwards and it says i dont meet requirements. wtf is up with that?

 

It looks like the code is no longer working. I chose the 160GB HDD and 2GB of memory and I priced the laptop at $1414 and when I applied the code at checkout it did not subtract anything. It's weird cause I tried earlier today and it worked.

Someone said earlier that there's a 4,000 purchase limit for that code.

I went to the Dell Kiosk to get $350 and $100 (kiosk special) discounts. When it came to entering discount code, $350 was no go. Guess will have to wait till another coupon comes out.

 

actually it did say 4000 limit but it did say july 12th...not the 6th....because i was debating wether or not to wait till the 12th to see if a $500 coupon would be added. Now i am glad that i ordered yesterday morning.

no coupons are expected. Everything done by dell is random, with the topic of this thread as an example. Dont expect a 500 dollar coupon, because its not going to come. Do I know this for a fact?..No. However with the amount of sales that the inspirons/xps laptops are getting, the chances of a 500 dollar coupon are highly unlikely. The most that anyone can do about getting a better deal on the systems is sit, wait, and hope. They'll come around eventually. The real question is when. It could be tomorrow, it could be weeks or months from now. Just dont hold your breathe.

 

Yeap ordered my loaded 1720 for $1322 and now the same one is almost $1700, uggh.

 

yup i tried the coupon this morning and it worked fine, but i told my sister in st louis to go to the dell kiosk and order for me, she called and said the 350 off coupon was no more. I can't wait much longer, i may just have to pay more to get what i want.

yeah, I just feel screwed because the dell rep gave me this deal with the 350 off coupon and free shipping and said she would call me later on in the day, never called and I call them today and I lost all my deals because some moron decides not to call me
