right, so i have about 125 bucks from dell. its just store credit. i have NO idea what to do with it. i've gone through all the possibilities. my laptop has weird distortion when theres no sound through the headphone jack, so i thought bluetooth headphones would fix that. no such luck since the distortion is caused by the sound processor itself. i dont need a mouse cuz i already have mx revolution. i never buy software for any reason cuz its too easily available online. the one thing i really need is an mp3 player thats more than 4 gigs. so 8 or more gigs. but thats not happening. the cheapest 8 gig one is 150. i dont game enough to justify having a joystick or gaming pad or anything. my psp can probably control the laptop remotely, so i dont need that weird little remote. honestly, im at a loss as to what to do with it.

i was originally gonna buy my sister a flash zune and have her give me her ipod, but the way she treated it, i can tell it'll die within a couple months. its covered in scratches and sticky crap and the faceplate is loose (like you can wiggle it back and forth.)

any suggestions? other than save it, cuz thats obviously wahats gonna happen till i get a better idea.

    update:
ps: i have 2 gigs of ram, geforce 8600m gt, and 2.2 ghz c2d processor. i coudl upgrade the ram, but considering im switching to linux and dont game at all, i cant justify that purchase at all. i dont think dell sells an 8800m yet or i'd check on that.
