Is this stackable coupon only valid for Dell Preferred Accounts or what? My Dell rep told me that I can't use it because I am paying by American Express instead of Preferred. Has anyone else used this that didn't pay with Preferred?

So has anybody used this coupon successfully without signing up for Dell Preferred Account?

though i got this to show up on cart... i didnt use it to buy laptop
if you call them on the phone.. you can ask them to give you a better price.
she said in so many words that manager allows them to give extra $100 off but dont quote me.

so if you call in.. keep talking to them and they will prob give you $100-125 off + they can give free shipping and handling(thats alot if you live in hawaii).

sometimes they can remove some software that you might not need. online configurator doesnt always let you remove some of the software.

or in my case they gave me more warranty and added some mail in rebates as well.

apparently they have deals and discounts that no one knows about :D

    definately worth calling.. cant hurt.

Lucky you. I called them and they couldn't do anything other than what I could do myself online. It all depends on which service rep you have and their mood. After about eight emails back and forth with my rep I finally got the $100 off plus another $20 off for no reason. It's definitely worth fighting for when you have coupons and you want to use them.
