I have had a problem finding a power socket jack for my xps m1730. It needs replacing and the suppliers i found on ebay keep sending me the small one, which i think is for some xps models but not mine. Does anyone know if there is one available in the market and where?
    thanks sarah

are you talking about the jack that is soldered on to the motherboard that you plug the AC adapter into?

if so, jameco, mouser or digi-key are the standard electronic component places...

if you have a warranty, you can get this replaced.
