which do you own?? or which would you buy? i have not seen the blue in person but most pics make it look kinda cheap i guess imo..

which did you pick and why?? i have a choice of either with pretty much the same specs specs either way for the same price..

anyone that has white or blue can you post pics or link me to some of those colors.. but real pics not the dell ones off the web page.

    thanks

    I'd get a gray one.
I don't like the brownish white.

heh i've got a white one, I really like it, it goes well with the backlit keyboard.

To each his own i guess. keyboard is white, blue can get kind of annoying in a few months i'd say. White is pretty neutral.

It's not a white white. It's slightly brownish/beige-colored, which makes the plastic look old.

my white is pretty white... especially with the lights on.

I don't know what you mean by making it look old, a new computer looks like a new computer.

Anyway. blue or white are both good. I say roll a coin and just choose. Red is no good imo.

nick can you shoot me a couple pics of the white?? and do you agree is it more of a brownish white??? the blue to me looks (no offense to anyone) a bit off. like a electric blue or something it would look a lot nicer i think if it was a darker b,lue and not so much of a electric blue .. at least all the pics make it look really bright.

i still would pick the grey myself but not a choice for me here i know i can always change the wings out later though

also this will be on my desk at my office in my business we own.. so the blue may look a bit to much like a toy to my customers?? anyone agree??

You want gray. The blue is nice only with Blue LEDs, the white is kinda nice, but kinda doesnt really blend too well with white. Gray is a nice dark shade that matches everything better.

Get white then. It has better looks LEDs of all colors.

If you think your going to be choosing one color, persay, blue, or only two colors, then go with the blue.

Yeah man just go with white.. You'll really like it. Goes with everything, and is neutral so future proof. I can see you getting annoyed with blue in a year or too.

The white draws too much attention IMO.
And so far, I`ve concluded that raising the back of the laptop dropped my load temps from 83C for the GPU to 74-75C, neat stuff.
I`ve yet to unleash the power of SLI though :D

lol not sure how it draws any more than the blue would.. to me the blue is much more "flash" than the white is..

White and black are in contrast, whereas blue would be closer to black and would blend in.
With the leds on though, it won`t make much of a difference.
I`m almost done with me head to head review, will be posting it tomorrow.

    Agreed.

Judging from your posts and your personality, go with white. You don't have to have the lights on all the time, chances are you'll disable them within the first day anyway.

White looks really nice, in my opinion. Sheesh, I could have chosen from all 4 and i took white!!! cmon!!

Yea, i would rate flashyness (thats right i made a word) like this

    Red - Steal me
Blue - Lava lamp effect (staring)
White - Stands out a little
    Grey - who cares

:) Id go with white from what ive read and cause matches well with the rest of the system (its what i got)
