    xps m1530, working with another monitor

    Im a newbie, and im wondering if i can use my dell xps 1530, and at the same time have an lcd screen connect to it, to do something else.

    I.E. in the laptop i have open firefox, and in the lcd a pdf file.

    Is that possible?

    thx a lot. Whats the command to swith the use of mouse and keyboard from one screen to another?

    The computer will treat it as just one large screen.

    Yeah I got a XPS M1530 myself and have tried it on a LCD screen, what your saying would work fine.

    Yes, run it in extended desktop mode and you can have 2 independent displays. The mouse will run across them. In your display properties you can decide how, side by side or stacked top/bottom.
