    xps m1530 shutsdown/crashes when playing games

    I was only playing battlefield 1942... for an hour or so and then it crashes!!!

    i did undervolt my computer soooo wat replacement part should i ask for? cooling system?

    hmm this could because of the overheating mate :( try monitor your Temps using HWMonitor or any other temp monitor for that matter ...

    also give a dell call about this issue and tell them its getting very hot and switch off abruptly , i am sure they will change your Heatsink but in my case they changed the MB , GPU and Heatsink

    You need to monitor temps to see if it is shutting down because of a thermal issue, or something else. Are you sure your undervolt is stable?

    pretty sure its thermal. i dont get a blue screen or anything. i think i should get a new heatsink
