    xps M1530 power cord help!

    My battery to my laptop ran out of charge and when I plugged in the unit, I got nothing. I noticed that when plugged in the led in the power adapter lit, but when I plugged it into the laptop, it came off. I have no power to charge the battery and I need to use it tmmrw. anybody has any suggestions?

    I tried reseating the battery, but to no avail. I will check a dell reseller tmmrw to check to see if the power adapter is the issue, or the battery. anybody ever came across such an issue before?
