    xps 15 external monitor black out problem

    I just got my Dell XPS 15 9550 a day ago but when i connect to my monitor in calm shell mode, the monitor keeps going black every couple minutes. I have tried uninstall graphic drivers, and updated the bios as well. Anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance!

    Did you try another cable? I often had problems with faulty HDMI cables in the past.

    it is the same cable i used with my old macbook pro, so i dont think that was the problem.
