    Hey guys, I really want to keep my xps 14z but i have a slight problem. the screens terrible. some of the colors are just washed out and its kindof blurry(the colors) like reds or blacks, doesnt loook purely red/black like hints of washed color in them. not sure how to explain it.

    but i was wondering what color profile you guys have on your settings? i tried switching it around but didnt get very good results, i have the intel 3000 with the i5 2450.

    Do you have an HDTV? Why not hook it up to your television via HDMI instead of a monitor, then you can see the true color profiles there, from there you can tell if the 14z's screen has gone bad or not, because it sounds like the screen's color engine has gone bad (if I used the right terms).
