on normal PC`s there are all ways loads of jack inputs to choose from but on my M1710 I can only see 1 jack which has a symbol of a headphone above it.

Is this the main audio jack to attach a pair of speakers to , and will I need to buy some type of special converter when buying some external main powered speakers ?

Thanks for any help !!! :)

    Should I buy this ? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Speaker-Headp...14&_trkparms=72:1300|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318

2.1 stereo speakers only need to run off 1 jack. No need to buy anything. Its only 2 speakers (left/right) and 1 subwoofer.

7.1 speakers on the other hand need 3 jacks
