i'm seraching for a laptop, and i saw the dells were pretty good. but i don't get these 2 model's laptop.

    1: Dell XPS M1330 (13''inch one i think)
2: Dell Studio XPS 13 (both of them is 13'')

i need people that have experience with those 2 laptop and compare them for me.
i will use it for graphic Design/Digital media and sometimes games too like Cod4,L4d and WOW.

    money isn't much a problem :)

I would get the Studio XPS 13. If you configure the M1330 with the more powerful graphics card option, it's pretty much doomed to die an early death, and it's being discontinued. The Studio XPS 13 will be just fine for graphic design and moderate gaming. You'll be able to play CoD4 and L4D, though you may have to turn some settings down. And WoW should have no trouble at all.

I agree with that, the Studio XPS 16 would probably suit the OP's purpose far better, but in a comparison strictly between the Studio XPS 13 and the XPS M1330, I would give the advantage to the Studio XPS 13.

If you are into graphic design I'd suggest the SXPS 16 with the RGBLED screen....

Otherwise as already said, the SXPS 13 (a.k.a. XPS 1340) will be the better choice due to the problems with the Nvidia 8xxx series.

I wouldn't, at least for not that reason. The colors on the RGBLED screen are pretty inaccurate. The reds are way too saturated.

I'd suggest the XPS16 because it's a more powerful laptop -- but I would hook it up to a good external monitor.

Thanks, I didn't realize that. So would a WLED monitor portray colors more accurately? If so then what is the benefit of an RGBLED (assuming resolutions are identical) as IIRC they consume more power as well.

A 1340 is fine with an external monitor. I have a 1340 with the 8600 processor, 4gb ram, 128 ssd and 256mb graphics and it flies with photoshop and I have rendered some pretty large (340mb) images.

Tinker with a few settings and the reds cool down. The RGB display has gotten top marks from alot of reviewers saying its the best laptop screen they have ever seen

The WLED screen is 720p, while the RGBLED is 1080p. No idea about the color accuracy of the WLED screen -- I guess I have to play with my settings.

Yes, the RGBLED screen is fantastic and I'd say it's still the best laptop screen ever produced even if its colors are not that accurate out of the box. If anything, it's too bright, with the lights turned out I have to turn down the brightness to its lowest level.
