Hey guys, i bought a xps Gen4 sometime back. after getting it repaired for some malfunctions a few years later i never had a problem again. now i want to bump up my RAM and did a system scan, and it came back as a Gen3. What gives? What's the difference? Did the guy that repaired my computer pull a fast one on me and swapped something and not tell me? where is the Gen 3 or 4 located? is it part of the motherboard? HELP i'm confused....
