    i think this laptop is the best out there right now .. so im thinking of getting one but i was wondering about the fan noise is it loud ?
    what about the screen brightness etc
    could anyone tell me how to get the best offer to buy that core2duo
    how much would it cost me

    search around the reviews and you will find an xps m1710 on the site

    the difference between red and black is just the cover

    from Charles Jefferies and Andrew Baxter's review, the fan was extremely quiet though it the lappy does get hot

    screen brightness is good from his review and it would probably run you into the 2000-3000+ range

    Wonderful laptop, brightest I've seen, though the screen is a *little* bit unevenly lit (nothing I see when gaming, though).

    Of course, when playing Oblivion at full resolution the fans go mad (but still sound less than one would expect). In everyday usage, I forget the fans completely.
