    hi,
    Dell needs my original order number and customer number to replace my laptop.i do not have them,what can i do and what will they do?.and i want to know why they want to know original order number and customer number?,can not they know it from their records?

    Shouldn't you have received this info in your e-mail when you first ordered? Not sure if you ordered online or by phone.

    Bu yes, they should have your records and they will be in the name of the payee.

    thanks for your help,but the case now i do not have these info,i do not remember if i bought it directly from dell OR from ebay,what shall i tell them now to have my laptop replaced?

    How far back are we talking here?

    Surely you can search the e-mail account you used at the time (providing you don't delete important mails) and find out if it was by eBay or Dell?

    since 20 Sep 2009.i have changed many e-mail as they were hacked.i am sure that i will not be able to have them,What can i do now?

    Tell them true story , & tell them it's been almost more than a year and i probably don't have any records of it And ask them if they have your records in their data base or not ? Even machines are not perfect how can be a human ?
