    the wait for m1330...worth it?

    I learned today that my order for a 1330 got delayed a month, and granted I think it's a great model (on paper) but I've read such a range of stories from the awesome to the downright crappy. It cost ~$1,500 for me with a few extra features.

    The key reasons why I bought this was the power for its portability, which was my #1 criterion.

    College starts 3 weeks after that and I'm worried if it's going to be defective. Should I just endure the wait for this model? Or should I just up and go to a retailer and buy some other similar-sized laptop?

    Possibly order a outlet one. I believe they **** quicker as they are already built and boxed :)

    I ordered an outlet m1530 on Monday at 11pm and got it on Friday with two day shipping. Of course has problems with turning on but maybe you will fair better.

    I ordered an outlet XPS M1530 on Thursday, tracking says it will arrive at my house on Monday with Ground shipping. If you need a system in a hurry the outlet is a good place to look.
