Hey when the m1730 was updated with the 9800m GTX was the motherboard also changed or does it still work with their old motherboard that the 8800 GTX used

No changes were made to the motherboard (as far as I know). The 9800M series (from Dell) is compatible. I say 'From Dell' as its their design - so you can't drop a 9800M card from another manufacturer into 'The Beast'...

Yup, everything is same. The gpus that dell offers is 9800m GT is a replica of 8800m with slight changes but if dell introduces 9800m GTX then there might be some new changes.

My M1730 came with 2 9800M GTX SLI. Got it last week.

Somehow here in the Netherlands Dell has stopped offering them, only 9800M GT as an option. GTX might be out of stock?

Which drivers do support physics on these cards.
I now have the stock 179.24 drivers installed but I don't see a Physics option.

We see S-Video and S/PDIF missing in recent M1730 in Germany:

    No. 2 is missing:

Don't know whether S/PDIF got incorporated in DVI and digital sound output is available through HDMI adapter.

Also in the Netherlands! Guess its because of the new 9800MGT(X) videocards.

Yes it might be because of new model and I think you are the first to have the 9800m gtx with M1730 as I have not heard from anyone on NBR.
