Hy. I have a question. I have a xps for about 2 months, and a few days ago in a quiet environment I heart a strange noise coming from the laptop. I do not know how to describe the noise, is like a mouse sound 'zt-zt-zt-zt-tztz-zt-zt-zttzt', you can not hear it , only if you listen in a quiet environment. The sound comes from the processor and is not the usual sound when the pc is loading.
Could that be a problem,?or is normal?

you might just have a loud harddrive and your hearding the drive being accessed or it could be the drive dying. See if you can download a free HDD diag program online and check it out.
