Merry Chrsitams everyone and sorry for posting today but I would like to complete the bloatware removal on my brand new XPS M1730. I am comfortable with the above process but I have concerns with how to deal with the raid 0 array I have with my 2 hard drives and do I need to know anything about the drivers for the dual nvadia 8800m video cards I have? I have never dealt with a raid array or dual video cards. Also, I am reading to not download drivers form dell if you can get the drivers form the manufacturers, especially nvidia. Any help would be a great gift on a day like today.

Lastly, there are like 50 some driver downloads for my system on dell. Do I need to download all of these?

I'd be interested in this info too, especially the RAID-array drivers. For the 8800, go to laptopvideo2go.com and get the modded inf for 180.84. That's the current one people are having good results with.

What I don't understand is, how do people get internet drivers for their computer after they format it? Just stick it on a flash drive after downloading it on another computer? You know, for the wireless card/ethernet controller. Can't even get online to download the drivers without those guys!!
