    i think i am going to buy a m1330 one day and i want to know what options does dell give you for recovering your system. can i get a recovery disc or is there a recovery partition on the hard drive

    There is a recovery partition on the hard drive, I believe. I erased my notebook as soon as I got it so I can't remember. Otherwise, they give you a couple CD's with MediaDirect (install first), Windows Vista (whatever version), and a CD with the drivers and you can get it 90% of the way back to the way it was when you got it. A few things that are missing usually for this such as Desktop wallpapers that are unique to XPS systems (you can get them elsewhere), and you should have discs for any software you purchased with it.

    so they do include cd's with drivers/software and the OS?
