how do i monitor my CPU and and GPU temperatures on my 1530?
It would be nice to be able to check these type of things.
So, is there any free software or anything?

please visit the NBR Cooling Central

    Programs for temp monitoring:
    (for GPU)
    - RivaTuner (best of the best, since it can monitor temps and FPS when in-game)

    (for CPU)
    - RMclock .... great for underclocking the CPU to lower temps

    (for all-in one)
    - HWmonitor ..... very simple to use
    - Notebook Hardware Control ..... great utility
    - Everest ...... great program, lots of plugins.... even works with RivaTuner

stay away from SpeedFan.... its great for desktops.... not so great for notebooks.

    Hi,
On 1530 laptop.... look for i8kfan, its free and can even control fan speed. (Dell fanĀ“s sensor...are something "special".

    Good luck.

I also like I8kfangui to monitor temps and control the fans.
