    1.) how much RAM can my motherboard handle? I have regular XPS1530, aprox. 6 month old.

    2.) what kind of RAM modules fit into my XPS?

    currently, 6GB in a 2GB (slot a) + 4GB (slot b) configuration. max frequency is 667MHz.

    at newegg or your vendor of choice, look for DDR2-667 laptop modules.
