Normally I hate signing up for a forum and asking a question, but I've found this place pretty helpful with info on the m1730 Dell sent me as a surprise "I'm sorry gift" when their on-site service guy basically destroyed my Inspiron.

Anyways, I've been looking all over the internet (including using the search feature here) and have been unable to find out if there are any power supply options that are cheaper and/or smaller than the $120 cinder block the machine came with, I really need a spare and I'd love to save a few bucks and/or my vertebra when carrying the machine. If anyone could be of help here I'd really appreciate it.
