    just wanted to know at what temperature do the fans kick in
    and what cpu temp should i be expecting
    where are the fan settings and can they be changed?
    ive had cpu temps up to 70 c is this normal
    thx for any advice

    70C isn't bad for a laptop like yours...and it is definitely tolerable. If you want to control the fans yourself (and increase their power) I do believe a program called I8kfangui will help you.

    btw it has a core 2 t7200 and gs 9700 and 2 gb of ram fitted
    i have tried i8kfangui on monitor only it only shows cpu temp tho nothing else
    i have a03 bios is it worth flashing to A05?
    just wondered at what temp the fans come in normally ,what controls this and if it can be changed without using another program
