    m1530: can install Windows 2000?

    I'm just wondering if we can install Windows 2000 on the XPS m1530. If yes, where can we get the drivers for all the hardware devices?

    Can XP drivers work on Windows 2000? Has anybody successfully installed Win2K on m1530?

    I tried to tri boot it before, gave up, had to do a full system re-install as it messed up the system.

    You might get by with win 2000 on the 1530. I'd try setting it up on a 2nd partition first for testing purposes. Try the xp drivers.

    The first thing I can think of off the top of my head is wireless. You're going to have to use the Dell wireless utility because 2000 doesn't have one.
