    m1530 battery aging issue

    I am using VISTA 32bit, my battery (9cell) performance shows approx. 3.5-4h with dell recommended settings ( brightness 2 notches from the minimum)..the thing is that it used to indicate over 5 h..is that normal???


    My battery age 2years..

    Yes, all rechargable batteries lose capacity over time.

    Factors that influence the retention of capacity include the number of charge/discharge cycles, and the temperatures that it is exposed to. Under typical use, most lithium ion batteries die within a few years of purchase.

    This is perhaps one of the better sources of information regarding battery aging.
