So I know this program basically tortures your graphics card but how hot should it get on a stability test in 'Xtreme Burning Mode'? I just had my motherboard/GPU replaced so I am running some tests. After a few minutes of this test it reaches 90 degrees celcius. Isnt that crazy hot?

The problem with the M1530 in my experience is that no matter how many times you have the motherboard or the heatsink/fan replaced, temps will eventually crawl back up to the 90s. So getting to 90C is pretty much unavoidable. Every time I had the heatsink/fan replaced, my GPU max temps would drop to the high 70s, but then they would eventually be back up to the 90s within a month or so. Changing the heatsink/fan is all that's needed when you get overheating. I have no idea why but this is what I did about 4 times while under warranty and each time my temps dropped significantly. Changing the thermal paste didn't do the trick though....had to physically get the heatsink/fan replaced each time.

yeah seems like the 1530s are pretty much heatboxes. its getting old thats for sure

Which is why I sold mine as a precaution and bought an Asus. I missed the M1530 so much though (love the build and design) that I bought an M1330 with intel graphics so no overheating issues. I don't like the SXPS 1640/1340 design. Despite having the overheating issues, my motherboard had no problems during the 2 years that I had it. Just the heatsink/fans which had replacing.
Just make sure you undervolt your CPU and use a notebook cooler as that really made a difference of about 20C (12C + 8C respectively). Furmark really is pushing it though. If your gaming temps are below 90C, then don't worry too much. Above 90C isn't good though.
How old is yours and how much warranty do you have left? -
almost two years. warranty is up in 2 months
