So I opened up Dell Webcam Center today and... for some reason, instead of seeing my own face with my room in the background, I get the message "Failed to start video preview. Please reconnect your camera."

    ???

So I reinstall the Dell Webcam applications and the drivers, and try again. I get the same message. The weird thing is, the webcam is definitely working. The blue LED's flash on and off every time the computer boots up like always, and I can even use the webcam through other applications, like a gadget in my Windows sidebar.

Can anybody shed any light on this? Or at least suggest a good alternative webcam application?
