This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     m1330 turns off when running on battery

    My m1330 turns off randomly when running on battery only (AC adapter not plugged in). This happens randomly; sometimes in windows, and it has also happened a couple secs after pressing the power button (at the Dell screen).

    I don't think it's a heat problem, as the last time this happened, it turned off couple secs after powering up and the laptop hasn't been on for 12 hours..

    Any ideas?
