    Hi

I just got an used M1330 very cheap :)

Changed the CPU, and its now T9300 and also did the copper mod :)

    idle CPU = 28C
    idle GPU = 49C

    Max CPU after Wprime 1024 = 60C
    Max gpu temp after 3dmark06 = 70C

so it doesnt run that hot on standard settings, so overclock is not that risky!

    • Can I overclock the 8400 with the newest nvidia driver? Which software? What driver version if not the newest?
    • Can I somehow clock the CPU? Bsel mod or setFSB?

Its mainly the GPU I would like to test but some extra cpu juice is always good :)

it seems i can use Zotac Firestorm for the gfx, which I use for my desktop :)

What clocks would you recommend for the gpu?

    So stock settings are:

    Engine clock: 400mhz
    Memory clock: 1200mhz (600mhz)
    Shader clock: 800mhz

    i just tried:

    Engine clock: 500mhz
    Memory clock: 1500mhz (750mhz)
    Shader clock: 1000mhz

and it crashed after 1min of Windows E index. GPU Temp was only 57C

Volt is 1.15V but im not touching that...

can someone plz help with some stable clocks?

    I saw a guy on youtube with 600/900 engine/mem

    Nice.

Did you increase the voltage? And if yes, how?

Maybe the older drivers are more overclock friendly?

    i got it stable at:

    Engine clock: 450
    Memory clock: 1350mhz (675mhz)
    Shader clock: 900

is it win 7 64bit or the newest nvidia driver that wont clock the card? Max temp 73 under full load.

Even with the copper mod I am not sure I would want to ever stress out the gpu on a m1330, due to the likelyhood if it having a flawed nVidia GPU>

    I know the risk ;)

Its 2+ years old, so I guess its not a flawed nvidia gpu model...

and Im far from the 100'C others have been getting..
