I have had my motherboard and graphics card replaced on my dell xps m1530,
I have since had extremely low fps in games,
Someone told me my 3dmark score for my processor was extremely low,
I have a intel core 2 duo 2.4GHz t8300
it got a 3dmark score of 6569,
it got a CPU score of 549 !!!!!
i have 4gb ram,
8600m gt
2.4ghz core 2 duo cpu t8300.....
whats the problem ??
-
Is it 3dmark06? If yes i believe that ur score is pretty standard from what ive seen from other m1530s. Dunno bout the cpu score tho... sorry
-
6.6k sounds okay for the m1530 and the 8600m-gt, i would think.
-
That sounds pretty good, not abnormal to me.
-
it has to be a power problem then, after my motherboard and graphics card got replaced when I turn my laptop on it prompts me with a 65w adapter is only connector and a 90w is needed??
yet my pack reads 90w ????
im getting around 25fps in left 4 dead, whereas i was getting 60+ on the same settings??
is it a power problem then ?? -

549 is a low score for your cpu. An average score for a t8300 should be around ~ 2000+
6569 is an extremely high score for an 8600 - IF you were running 3dmark06 at 1280*1024.
However I suspect you were either running at a lower resolution than is standard or a were using a previous version of 3dmark.
Which would account for the high score. -
He didn't said what 3D mark ran. I guess that it is the '05 or even the '03 version.
-
In 3D Mark 06 I only got 4,280 with my 1640. Now THAT can't be right.......

Nobody uses 3dmark05 anymore, even 3dmark06 is now starting to get phased out by 3dmark vantage.
I haven't a whole lot of experience with 3dmark05, but a score of 6000ish
is average for an 8600m gt.
low 3dmark score..... after replaced graphics card and motherboard?
