    laptop return fees

    For those unhappy with their xps and had to return, did dell charge a restocking fee? Did you have to pay for return shipping?

    I know their website says they might charge a 15% fee, but it seems like most ppl that returned did not have to. Is that correct?

    I just returned mine and they told me i didn't have to pay for return shipping or any restocking fees. I don't know for sure though since i just returned it on friday.

    My LED screen was a mess, it had the worst backlight bleeding i've ever seen on a laptop. I decided against exchanging it because I realized that i didn't need all that power so i'll probably get a studio 15 or another, lower specced m1530 as soon as they're available with the new montevina chipset.
