did anyone here tried this egpu mod with their l702x? i wanna do this but i don't know if its possible with this laptop

if you mean if you can connect a external GPU to your L702X, the answer is yes.
it does have internal minipci-e slots, and getting one of those adapters will let you to connect external video cards.
about if you can use the external video card in the integrated screen, it depends if the laptop have optimus (I read somewhere there are some modded optimus drivers wich allow to render the external video card image at the integrated screen), I heard it is also posible if you have a sandy bridge proccesor by downloading Virtu Driver -

however those egpu mods are limited by the pcie bus, I heard they cant use the x16 slot full speed, correct me if I am wrong
it works but at lower speeds, probably will still be faster than the internal gpu but not sure.
