Since NVIDIA chips aren't too reliable anymore ( http://www.engadget.com/2008/07/02/nvidia-says-significant-quantities-of-laptop-gpus-are-defectiv/)
I'm cancelling my previous order for my XPS laptop with 128MB NVIDIA chip for the regular Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 3100.

If I get a 4-cell battery with this Intel chip, approximately how long will the battery life be? Or do you recommend that I just get a 6-cell?

Also, has anyone experienced problems with the slimmer LED display?

    Thanks.

The max I saw with the 4-cell and X3100 was around 3 hours. Any activity will bring it below 3 hours. Within the first hour of basic web browsing I was already approaching 50% left. This is with T8300, LED screen, 160GB 7200RPM.

havent heard of problems with led display (besides it being a little too easy[thin] to be flexed... just take care of it)
