I think the i7 mobiles aren't slated to be out before Q4/09 or Q1/10..unless Intel has changed their plans.

The XPS line will probably get them a month or two after the launch..maybe more depending on DELLs desire to re-design their laptops

It's coming in October for the SXPS 16.

But, sorry Dell, I'm going with the new HP Envy 15.6"!

You could also not buy that cheap knock-off and buy a real Mac. Oh wait...

Hello, I'm new in da house! I've been particulary interested in this topic, as I'm going to buy an XPS 16 soon. I'm from Chile, South America, and look what I found in Dell's chilean website.

Translates: New! Optional Intel® CoreTM i7 Mobile platform: inteligent and ultra fast performance for digital creations.

Although it is written there, it isn't available at customization yet. Didn't thought it would appear over here first. Is it coming sooner than it was expected?

    Greetings,
    Martin

Heh, I'm surprised it appeared on the Chilean website first not to mention weeks before its availability.

    Looks like a slip up.

I kind of want my laptop to die just so I can have one of those.
