well im overclocking my xps 1530 with an 8400m gs gpu and t8300. rite now i overclocked at 580 core clock and 730 memory clock with 64 degrees according to cpuid and got an 1800 on the 3dmark06 score which is horrible...

i havent artifacted on 3dmark06 yet so i was wondering what are some of the speeds u guys overclocked that are stable and not too harming on the mobo and heat... cuz im afraid that if i overclock too much ill overheat my mobo and ruin it

my 8400m gs was once overclocked to 650 core and 950 mem (was able to hit 1000 w/o artifacting) but i stopped because I didnt want to put too much stress on my gpu.But then again i hit those high number because i live in a place where the ambient temperature is around 10 celcius.

i actually stopped overclocking my system since i dont wanna degrade the life of the GPU. But if your looking for a normal oc try 530 core and 750 mem. I would look for dox drivers since they OC the best.

    good luck :D

if i were you i would lower your memory clock to 850...remember that the memory itself is only passive cooled.
