I just happened to notice how the area around the box on my laptop is a uneven. I could actually put my finger on it and it will flex down. I had my laptop for 6 months now and just noticed it. My laptop has always been at home so I know I did not abuse it. I am using a LG 1650 x 1050 screen and am wondering if I ask Dell for a replacement, what kind of screen will they send me?

I talked with a Dell CSR and they said that I am way pass my 21 days period so they cannot do anything about it. But they're replacing my motherboard for a headphone jack noise problem I am having. The flex isn't really a problem, but when you are spending a large sum of money on something, you will want to make sure it is flawless.

Btw, does anyone know if the mobo that I will receieve be brand new or refurbished? And if I find out that the part is refurbished, can I just tell the tech that I won't need it anymore?
