This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    dell xps1530 web cam and mic

    hi do any of you out there no if the web cam and the mic are on the same cable as my mic has stopped working it still says its working fine but its not i did get as far as taking the keyboard out as i need to fix the touch pad then stopped and put it all back then the next day noticed that no mic now as far as i no i did nothing to the wires of the mic and have seen on-line that they are on the same cable so it that is the case you would think the web-cam would not work and that's fine have opened up where the mike is and it all fine at both ends of the cable and have also updated driver so do any of you no are they both on the same cable
