i live in thailand and have been combing the IT malls all week. i saw the studio xps 13 and instantly fell in love. b4 making an impulse buy i ran home to see some review and to my horror it seem like everyone has problems with their laptop.

after a little more research i saw that dell offers the new 210m card which many believe will solve many of the problems on it.

heres the problem, the dell sellers only carry the sxps13 preconfigured with the geforce 9500 card. i contacted dell thailand and asked if i could order a fresh model (dell thailand only carries business machines, an sxps13 has to be special ordered) with the new card and the price came out to an extra 5000bt ($150).

i would like to know if the problems occur in random poorly constructed machines here and there or are they pretty much most of them. i would also like to know if the 210m card really fixed the problems with stutters, lag and heat.

i dont mind paying a little bit more if it gives me peace of mind. but if the problems i have been reading about are just bad luck of the draw machines then i might as well save myself the money.

ive been looking at a few alternatives but i find this laptop extremely sexy. any advice would be most appreciated.
