from a stock hitachi unknown model 120 gb 5400rpm (average 32mb/s) to a samsung HM320JI (320gb 5400rpm, reviews shows average 51mb/s) cuz the data density and 2 platters of 160gb instead bla bla ...

also from 2x1 gb strange brand(hyundai makes ram??!?) to 2x4gb kingston value ram (both 667mhz)

will i notice any performance gain doing these upgrade? do I need 4gb ram? i use photoshop, flash stuffs, but not virtual machine (which i know it needs more ram)

PS: of course i will put vista 64bit

    thanx

you will probably notice more difference overall because of the ram upgrade. the hdd upgrade will definitely improve also but probably more noticeable at boot and large file transfers.
