Dell Studio xps vs Dell Xps m1530. I sold my Dell xps m1530 because of manufacturing problems, such as dents and other things.

I was wondering which one is better for gaming the Studio xps 16 or the Xps m1530 with the 8600gt. It seems that you can only get a Bluray burner on the xps m1530?

Which one has a better lcd quality?

    Thanks!

It really depends on the whole system configuration, what CPU are you getting, how much RAM and such...

The Studio XPS 16 comes with a 16:9 screen ratio, which means loss of vertical space which many people dislike.

The XPS m1530 comes with a 16:10 screen ratio and looks classier IMO.

Equal specs, 2.4ghz, 4gigs of ram. Does the Studio xps 16 have a P socket, so i could eventually upgrade the cpu to a faster one?

If you don't mind the 16:9 screen ratio, I would get the Studio 16, it comes with new gen tech, the XPS m1530 may have the same specs but they are of an older gen variety.

The new 16:9 ratio is fine i don't know why people don't like it. I actually like it better it makes the notebook less square looking

    I like it as well.

Plus the RGBLED display is amazing.
