    Hi,

I just received my new laptop but sadly I discovered it has a small dent above the keyboard, on the top left..just where "XPS | M1530" is written. :(
If I press it down that whole plastic will move for about 30mm.
I will attach a picture later on..

    Is this normal?

    Thanks,
    Adrian

mine has about the same bump and it flexes too. The laptop works fine and i didn't feel it was worth dealing will dell. But if your still in the 21 days you could ask for a new replacement system.
    Good luck

No, it's not normal for *brand new lappy*. You have a few choices.

You can call Dell and have them send a tech to fix for you. Or, you are well within your *21 days of date of invoice*, that you can simply call Dell and have them send you a *brand new replacement system*.

Its up to you. It could very well be a simple fix. For me, when I pay good money for something, I expect to receive it in the condition I paid for it. ;)
