    Hello there,

So recently my XPS m1330 was replaced for the Studio XPS 1340 due to numerous problems i had with the 1330. Had the LED screen replaced, the battery and some other stuff, so since it was I think 3 times or so I inquired about a replacement laptop. The first time I did it, I was offered a refurbished XPSM1330, which I denied, but then after my xps getting slower (diagnostics took over 9 hours) I thought about the "refurbished" part. In the end my system would of been refurbished anyway since so many parts were replaced so i called and inquired about another replacement which was then they offered me the 1340 (which I was told would probably be refurbished) and it was, but in pretty good condition so i wont complain.

    Now my two questions:
    1. On the XPS m1330 i had the extended battery (which I need due to the computer being used without a charger often) and the 1340 didn't get the extended one, do i contact dell to send the extended and i send them the regular one back?

    2. In the 1330 I put in the flash cache 1gb module in the wwan spot. I remember there was an option for this in bios, but in the 1340 i dont see such option. I tried putting the module in but did not get it work.
I put it in a SXPS 16 (friend has it) and it worked and the option in bios existed.
Does this mean it wont work with the xps 1340?

    Thanks in advance!

    P.S. I'm running windows 7 professional
